The Simplicity of Salvation- (Because God [Jesus Christ] Did the HARD Part!)
Many (religious) folks have lots of unscriptural ideas on how to "get to god" or achieve some state of goodness? or righteousness? that will have them in the favor? of God in their lives. According to the Bible (which I believe) all these *notions can be **discarded without any further consideration of their merit because they directly contradict the testimony of Holy Writ. These "good works" will do the one practicing or attempting to keep them absolutely no real good and will lead the one trusting in them for God's favor lost and undone and finally in eternal ***torments!

Learn The ABC's of *God's Regeneration:
A- Accept the fact that you are NOT good, and can do nothing for yourself (you're helpless) or from within to get the favor of God or to influence Him to accept you apart from His plan. Accept what God says about you in His word-that you are born with a dead spirit whose nature is to do evil, and opposes the things of God in the person of Jesus Christ.
B- Believe the testimony of God's Word (AV 1611) concerning the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Believe that it was your sin and wickedness (both by nature and choice) that sent him to die on the cross, and that he died for you to redeem you and secure your forgiveness.
C- Confess your guilt and fault before God in the matter of sinning against Him in word, heart, and deed. Turn to Him in prayer and ask humbly to be forgiven because of what Jesus Christ did for you in shedding His blood to cleanse you and cover your sins. Come to him while you may still receive the free gift that God in His love and mercy offers you. Commit to follow the Lord in faith as He leads you and shows you His will by the indwelling Spirit, prayer and Bible study.
